Dear clients, colleagues, and partners, allow me to introduce myself and present our law firm «VYSHNIAKOVA & PARTNERS».

I began my legal career in Ukraine as a Ukrainian lawyer and citizen, providing legal services to local Ukrainian clients as well as foreign clients conducting business in Ukraine. Later, after relocating to Slovakia for permanent residence and obtaining the status of an international lawyer in Slovakia, the law firm «VYSHNIAKOVA & PARTNERS» was established in 2016 in Slovakia in response to the increasing demand for legal services for Ukrainian citizens in Slovakia in the areas of immigration law and business activities.

Our clients, who were planning to relocate or conduct business in Slovakia, found it convenient and comfortable to work with our lawyers who have expertise and legal practice not only in Ukrainian law but also in Slovak law, as well as in international and European law. Thus, resolving any local (in Ukraine, Slovakia, and other EU countries) as well as cross-border (between Ukraine and Slovakia, as well as other EU countries) legal issues by a unified team became the optimal solution for our clients. Moreover, clients had the opportunity to communicate with our team’s lawyers and receive legal documents prepared by us in the language most convenient for them, as we provide legal services and are fluent in Ukrainian, Slovak, English, and Russian.

For example, our clients include Ukrainian companies and entrepreneurs who had businesses in Ukraine but were also planning to expand their operations into Slovakia or other European countries where we provide services. Additionally, many of our clients are individuals who were planning to relocate with their families for permanent residence, start a business, or seek employment in Slovakia, and were thus interested in services related to obtaining temporary/permanent residence permits in Slovakia, as well as the registration and full legal support of their businesses, among other needs.

Among the legal services we have successfully provided to our clients are: assisting with real estate transactions in Slovakia; representing clients in court disputes with Slovak developers who breached their obligations when Ukrainian citizens were purchasing property in Slovakia; representing Ukrainian clients in resolving labor issues and disputes; recovering debts in favor of Ukrainian companies from Slovak contractors; recognizing and enforcing Ukrainian court decisions in Slovakia to ensure compliance by Slovak debtors; assisting in international inheritance cases (for example, when a Ukrainian or foreign citizen became an heir to property located in Slovakia), as well as international family law cases (such as divorce and related matters between Ukrainian and Slovak citizens, handling cases of illegal child abduction from Ukraine to Slovakia), and many other cases and matters.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine in 2022, the range of requested and relevant services in Slovakia has expanded to include our legal support in the process of obtaining political asylum, as well as additional international protection in Slovakia. Additionally, our lawyers handle numerous cases in Slovakia, representing the interests of Ukrainian and foreign clients in criminal matters.
