On April 26, 2023 Attorneys Helen Vyshniakova and Ilja Rogac held a seminar in Bratislava, Slovakia, on "Legal Recommendations in the Field of Labor Law for Ukrainians Working in Slovakia".
The following issues were discussed at the seminar: emergence of an employment relationship with a Ukrainian citizen in Slovakia (employment contract, agreement, cooperation with a private entrepreneur, work through a temporary employment agency); legal advice for Ukrainian citizens – issues to focus on at the beginning of an employment relationship; ways to terminate an employment relationship and the rights of an employee upon termination of an employment relationship (notice period, severance pay, etc.); analysis of practical cases, answers to questions from the audience.
